IMPACT STORY

Insight Leader

I began my career as a hairdresser, earning my Level 2 in Hairdressing while also balancing the responsibilities of being a mum.

Although I enjoyed it, I loved what Testlands stands for, and loved the idea that I too, could help to make a difference to somebody’s life.

I was then offered a position at Testlands. This role opened up new possibilities: I was provided with training and was quickly given the chance to start a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration. Over 18 months of hard work I completed this, developing my administrative, organisational and business-operation skills.

After successfully finishing the apprenticeship, I was asked where I envisioned my career heading. I realised I wanted to move into the people side of the business — helping others, shaping work-culture and supporting growth. So I took the next step and began a Level 3 HR course which I am currently working on.

I am very grateful for the opportunities I have been given and love going home knowing that I have helped towards making a difference, no matter how big or small that may be.
